Germany’s packaging register — registration, Datenmeldung and the exact boundary of the ZSVR interface.
What LUCID is
LUCID is Germany’s packaging register, operated by the Stiftung Zentrale Stelle Verpackungsregister (ZSVR). In Clearlane, LUCID belongs to the PPWR and packaging-EPR module; it is not a separate EU regulation.

How the data report is prepared
A Datenmeldung XML file can be prepared from validated packaging data. The producer uploads the file manually in the LUCID portal and confirms it there.

What the interface can do
The public ZSVR machine interface is a read-only register-excerpt query. It can retrieve registration data; it does not submit producer registrations or packaging-volume reports.
